Bradley T. Hawkins
Dentist
Dr. Hawkins graduated from Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, with a Bachelor’s Degree in life science education & a minor in chemistry. Upon graduation, he became dual certified in life science & physical science through the Texas Board of Education. He spent his first three years teaching in an underserved environment in Beaumont, Texas, at Central Medical Magnet High School where he taught chemistry, physics, environmental science & a dual credit college chemistry course.
He moved to Washington, D.C., to pursue his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at Howard University College of Dentistry. Still yearning for the classroom, he created & instructed tutorial sessions in gross anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, histology & dental-related courses for underclassmen. He joined on with a Summer Enrichment Program through Howard University where he prepared college students for medical school admission exams. Upon graduating with honors, he decided to pursue his career in dentistry, while staying active with the youth from his prior profession.
When he is not in the office, Dr. Hawkins volunteers with special needs individuals. He also enjoys cooking, reading, singing, dancing & hiking.
